These are launch-stage website terms. Event-specific booking and refund terms will be displayed before payment when ticketing is introduced.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to join an interest circle in this first release. You must provide accurate contact information and use the service lawfully.

Interest circles

Joining a circle records interest; it does not guarantee that an event will be arranged, that a particular date or venue will be selected, or that a place will be available.

Gatherings

Future gathering pages will state the organiser, venue, price, inclusions, accessibility information, cancellation terms and any activity-specific requirements. Attendees remain responsible for their own travel, purchases and personal decisions.

Conduct

Everyone must follow the Essex.club community guidelines and reasonable instructions from hosts and venues. Harassment, discrimination, threats, unwanted sexual attention, fraud and unsafe behaviour are prohibited. Access may be refused or withdrawn to protect attendees and the community.

Community expectations

Essex.club helps people attend local gatherings. Please respect other attendees, their privacy and their personal boundaries.

Website availability

We aim to keep information accurate and the service available, but early-release functionality may change. We may correct, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary.
